On the summits of the last snow melts, the meadows and forests are already in a fresh green. Nature is preparing for the summer.

Warming sun rays are ideal for walks, go hiking or Nordic walking through meadows and pine forests.

The summer is slowly drawing to a close, the animals are driven from the mountain pastures into the valley. The leaves and the trees change color golden yellow. Autumn is really the best time for hiking or biking tours.

Enjoy a break in the autumn impressions and soak up more heat in the autumn sun.

End of the season we were able to once again welcome guests in our house sports. Bettina and Thomas were at the arrival of 30 cm of fresh snow greeted on the mountains. At first tours Bettina and Thomas trudged in knee-high snow or through the mountains to the Reschenpass. But the weather improved and the late fall showed its best side. Thomas was able now to prepare for the Stelvio. In fine weather then beat Thomas with a racing bike, the queen of Alpine roads. From St. Valentin to Prato and then the 48 hairpin bends onto the yoke. After a pause, then cycled back to Thomas to St. Valentine. Thomas Bravo, that was a great performance.

On 07/30/2011, the 12th edition of the Reschneseelaufes found in Graun, starting and finishing place on the church tower. 3450 athletes took part in glorious weather at the big event. The Reschenseelauf leads to a 15.3 km-circuit around the Reschensee and guaranteed by the wonderful mountain scenery and natural landscape is a unique running experience.

In St. Valentine was then leads on to the starting 08/21/2011 Haiderseelauf. This run of 5 km in length to one of the most beautiful natural lakes in South Tyrol. Also at Muta, with King Ortler in the background, was offered the 500 participants with a wonderful landscape. Was organized by the Ski Club of Haiderseelauf Haid.

Especially sporty guests lodged in June 2011 at the Hotel Mall. Ulla, Ursula Martin, had Kiki and Horst Erich big plans for your holidays. The three countries with the current bike, a tandem paragliding flight and a glacier tour to the white ball tip. For this project was already busy at home and trained a lot. At 26.06. it was about time, it was the day of Dreiländergiro. From Nauders on the Reschenpass we went to the Stelvio Pass (2757m), continue on to the Carolingian and the Ofenpaß Engadintal the Norbertshöhe back to Nauders where was the goal. The whole track has a length of 168 km with gradients up to 15% and 3300 meters.

Second, the tandem flight was announced with a paraglider. When the weather is looking Ulla, Kiki and Horst to the region around the Reschenpass from the air.

The third was the glacier tour to the white ball point 3739 m. At 29.06. Ulla went, Kiki and Horst on the white ball hut 2542 m, then there was added also de mountain leader Josef. In the larch forest Talai, directly above the village of St. Valentine, a forest trail with a treasure hunt for families and children was created. The origin and destination are in the district heating plant in St. Valentin, where there is parking. On the 3 km trail 12 stations invite young and old to play and discover. There are the themes: forest, forest dwellers and treated wood. Also in demand are skills in climbing trees and the labyrinth. Zipf and tapping the little naturalist accompany you on your way and tell interesting facts about the forest and its inhabitants. At 22:05:11, the volunteer fire department was a great day, we were able to inaugurate our new fire truck and officially put into operation. The TLF is a chassis from MAN TGM all-wheel with 18 340. The technical setup was supplied by the fire company Ziegler, equipped with a 300 liter water tank, DMF control, foam, and monitor the equipment to the requirements of today's fire and rescue equipment comply. The celebration began with arrival of the fire station in the church, accompanied by the band, after Mass, we walked back to the shed where then Commander Walter Habicher welcomed all the guests of honor. Also present was a delegation from our sponsor military Überlingen on Lake Constance with the city fire chief and county fire chief Andreas Löhle Nöh Henning. After the speeches, the new vehicle by Pastor Anton Pfeifer was blessed. The Fire of St. Valentine then invited to lunch in the garden shed. In the afternoon exercise was a show on the program. The party was still up in the late evening hours.

For several weeks, the excavator at the "Planet Zhang" at the valley of the work on Haideralm.
